What Makes Luxury and Luxury Plus Vinyl Flooring Unique?

The structure of your vinyl floor largely determines its durability and how well it will resist scuffs, scrapes and stains while retaining its original luster. Our Luxury Vinyl has a unique structural composition allowing you to select a floor type that will match your personal performance requirements. At its core, this unique product has a highly resilient fiberglass base, double encapsulated by pvc layers. Thanks to this revolutionary construction, your floor has unmatched dimensional stability eliminating conventional problems of contraction, expansion, curling and cracking, resulting in easy installation and higher durability. The unique characteristics of pvc gives you higher underfoot comfort and unparalleled flexibility combined with excellent resistance to everyday wear and tear.

COMFORT FOAM:
Comfort Foam is a luxurious cushioned vinyl backing supporting the vinyl structure and offering a base for indentation resistance. This backing reduces impact noise and sound transmission while guaranteeing unmatched underfoot comfort. The natural moisture-stop characteristics of pvc provide superior resistance to mold and mildew.

FIBERGLASS:
The fiberglass layer combines strength with flexibility, ensuring an easy and trouble-free installation process. This inter-layer offers your floor a unique dimensional stability, which means that it will not contract, expand, crack or curl.

FOAM LAYER:
On top of the fiberglass layer comes a cushioned vinyl foam layer, allowing additional indentation recovery thanks to its resilient nature.

QUICK CLEAN WEARLAYER:
The wearlayer determines the actual wear performance of your floor. The higher the  wearlayer the more durable your floor. The wearlayer will give your floor its protection and resistance against general wear, dents, cuts and scratches, while retaining its lasting finish. The unique Quick Clean Wearlayer benefit offers you extra durability and better definition of design and color, ensuring a long-lasting luster and beauty for your floor.

SUPER GUARD:
The Super Guard finish offers you even better protection. This advanced, urethane-layer resists scuffs, scrapes and stains and the accumulation of dirt and grime. This will allow your floor to retain its new look and ensure easy cleaning and maintenance.

Luxury and Luxury Plus Vinyl Flooring Advantages

Construction: The Harding Collection has a core of a highly resilient fiberglass base fully encapsulated on both sides by PVC vinyl.

Flexibility: Harding Vinyl is far more flexible than conventional sheet vinyl, making it easier to handle in the warehouse and on the job site. It will not break or permanently crease.

Dimensional Stability: Problems of contraction, expansion, cracking and curling are eliminated. The Harding Vinyl Collection lays flat and stays flat because of its unique construction.

Ease of installation: Because Harding vinyl lays flat and is so flexible, it is a joy to work with when compared to conventional sheet vinyl. There are two installation methods.

• Loose lay DIY installation up to 25 square yards.
• Full spread professional installation with pressure sensitive (releasable) adhesive.

Fewer Seams: The extra wide width (4 meters = 13'2") of Harding Vinyl results in fewer seams than conventional 12 foot wide vinyl.

Reduced installation time: Harding Vinyl takes much less time to cut and install. It is easier to seam and more forgiving than conventional vinyl. It is also easier to remove, repair or patch.

Extremely moisture resistant: Unlike traditional paperback vinyl, Harding Sheet Vinyl is extremely resistant to moisture. It is the ideal solution in many areas where other flooring types cannot be used.

What makes Harding Luxury and Luxury Plus vinyl Flooring so appealing?

Forget everything you knew about old-fashioned sheet vinyl flooring. The Harding Collection is today's vinyl flooring of choice. It's soft and quiet underfoot, yet tough and long lasting. It delivers amazing visuals, with realistic wood, stone and tile decors that will make you think you're in another world.

How tough is it?
Very tough. The unique construction of Harding vinyl, with a layer of fiberglass sandwiched between layers of PVC foam, gives the vinyl complete dimensional stability. Although it is much thicker than conventional vinyl because of the Comfort Foam backing, it will not contract, expand, curl or crack. And the tough urethane wear layer is stain-resistant and easy to clean, yet provides continued resistance to wearing and scuffing to keep your floor looking beautiful for years.

What about designs?
The Harding Collection is designed exclusively for ProSource and features unique three dimensional embossed designs in woods (from narrow to wide planks) tiles, and stones

Is it easy to install?
Harding vinyl is one of the easiest floor coverings to install. In fact, installers love it because it is quicker than installing carpet, laminate, hardwood, ceramic tile or conventional paper-backed vinyl. Conventional vinyl requires a "hard set" adhesive that must be scraped up when the vinyl is removed, and makes it virtually impossible to repair or replace. Harding vinyl uses a releasable adhesive that makes it easy to repair or replace the vinyl - another big advantage! It is also possible to loose lay Harding Vinyl in many installations that are 25 square yards or less. Harding Vinyl is also easy to cut and seam, and does not require messy two-part chemical bond seam sealers. Because of its construction and flexibility, there is less damage before, during and after installation. In addition, the extra width (13'2" wide instead of 12 feet)) results in either no seams or fewer seams in most installations.

Where can I use Harding Vinyl?
Everywhere! Its water resistance makes it ideal for kitchens, laundry rooms, bathrooms and basements - anywhere moisture might be a problem with other types of flooring. But its beauty and realism makes it ideal for every room in the house. It's warm, visually appealing, soft underfoot and reduces noise in every environment.

Vinyl Flooring care and maintenance

Your premium cushioned vinyl flooring will provide years of carefree use. You will find that it is not only beautiful, but durable. It is also much easier to maintain than most other flooring products, because of the tough protective finish and moisture resistance. It only takes a few simple care and maintenance steps to keep your floor looking new for years to come.

To keep your floor clean:

Sweep the floor with a soft bristle broom to remove loose dirt.
Wash the floor with non-abrasive floor cleaner.
For every day maintenance, a mop moistened with warm water will suffice.
Make sure furniture legs have large surface, non-staining floor protectors. Replace small, narrow metal or dome-shaped glides with smooth, flat glides that are in flat contact with the floor.
Heavy furniture or appliances that are not moved often should be equipped with flat, non-staining composition furniture casters or cups of appropriate size.

Do not:
-Do not use soap based detergents.
-Do not use abrasive or mop and shine products.
-Do not wax the floor.
-Do not use ammonia or bleaches.
-Do not use a vacuum with rotating beater bar.
