Carter Oosterhouse to host Wood Floor of the Year Awards

For those fretting that the best in premium wholesale flooring might go unrecognized, rest easy - the Wood Floor of the Year Awards are alive and well. In fact, Hardwood Floors Magazine reports that HGTV personality and designer Carter Oosterhouse has been selected to host the award ceremony as well as serve as the keynote speaker for the event. Oosterhouse is the star of the design shows Carter Can and Red Hot & Green and has contributed to a variety of other programs like the Rachel Ray Show, The Today Show, The View and the Oprah Winfrey Show.

The Wood Floor of the Year Awards Luncheon is presented as a by the National Wood Flooring Association every year at the organization's Wood Flooring Expo, which will be held in Orlando, Florida between April 10 and 13 next spring. The ceremony seeks to recognize innovative craftsmanship and design in wood flooring installations. The event has been held since 1990, featuring 10 categories for entries from the U.S. and around the world.

Voted "Sexiest Man on TV" by People magazine, Oosterhouse will be available for autographs and photos following the award show.
